» Poem: His Dark Materials
His Dark Materials
written by pengin_queen
06:32 PM 2/3/05
Into this wild abyss the womb of nature
and perhaps a grave,
of nether sea nor shore nor air nor fire,
but all these in there pregnant causes,
mixed confusedly and which thus must ever fight,
unless the almighty maker them ordain,
his dark materials to make more worlds,
into this wild abyss the weary fiend,
stands on the brink of hell and looked awhile,
pondering his voyage.

you spelled 'ABIS' wrong. It's spelled with a "y" not an "i".
