i never really knew
until i tried one lucky day
to find a friend like you
it seems to guide my every step
and ever deed i do
to know that i've a loyal friend like you
to tell my wishes to
for friendship brings
a state of mind
that manifests a peace,
a warming glow of happiness,
a meaningful release
