» Poem: The Foolish and the Weak
The Foolish and the Weak
written by boom_boom13

Many people say, or so I heard, that love is for the foolish and weak.
I agreed with them once, not knowing it was bleak.
But soon I found myself wrong when you came,
And everything I said about the foolish and weak, I was to blame.
Because you showed me how to fly,
How to take to the sky,
How to carry a star,
How to hope very far.
You showed my how to laugh,
How to forget my past,
You showed me how to win
My life all over again.
And I owe it all to you, and others can call me a freak,
But I'd rather be with the foolish and weak.
