Shattered

Tormented by my own thoughts
Scared into a corner
Defenseless against the world
My spirit is broken
My soul is hiding like a frightened child
Afraid of the dark
Refuse me
Lie to me
Anything to hide the truth from me
But I already know
And I can't pick up the shattered pieces
Pieces of me
That died so long ago |
