sure to die

for love has taken my legs and feet,
and if i were to land on them i would be sure to die.
I am a fish that may not swim.
for love has taken my gills and fins.
and if i were to submerge under this water i would be sure to die.
I am a human that may not trust.
for love has taken my heart and soul.
and if i were to trust again i would be sure to die.
