turning away
written by loner_girl06:53 AM 2/5/05We held each other close
We kissed under the sky
In the pouring rain
We never wondered why
You told me i was beautiful
You walked me home from school
You were my dream boy
Little did i know i was a fool
I gave you my soul
I gave you my heart
You ripped it and raped it
you took every part
I caught you with that other girl
You treated her like you treated me
I turned away and tried not to cry
But I just didn't want this to be
I turned away from the truth
Which i never should have done
because he played me like a crule game
In that game he won
We tried so many times
but they all just ended out the same
I know it's all my fault
I know i'm to blame
But now you want me again
And i'll just have to say no
because i'm turning away
from being in your dark shadow
i'm turning away
I never want to see you again
I walk away for once
without a heavy shoulder, and with a grin |

I know how hard it is to let someone that you love, and believed loved you, go. I'm debating on whether or not I should do the same. I loved the poem. |

Bravo! As I will soon say in "Blood Turning Cold." There are no happy endings. |
