when you died

Do you know what it feels like to watch the days pass you by?
Do you know what it feels like to watch a flower die?
Do you understand that i can't watch these days go by?
Do you know how to end this chain of cries?
I wish you were still here to help me through the cold.
I wish you could tell me this feeling would soon be old.
But when i feel i am so far away.
I find myself striving for just one more day.
Why did you have to leave me on that fateful day?
I could have made it and been ok.
I have wished for years that you could of stayed.
But now i see i couldn't have it your way.
