» Poem: "Landscape of the Heart" by Brian Andrea
"Landscape of the Heart" by Brian Andrea
written by Saddsteph

It is still so new & all we see is the empty space, but that is not how it is in the landscape of the heart. There, there is no empty space & she/he still laughs & grapples with ideas & plans & nods wisely with each of us in turn. We are proud to have known her/him. We are proud to have called her/him friend.

I take no credit whatsoever for this poem. It is a memorial poem for a girl that died sometime back into 2004. And I'm putting these up for a friend of mine who died sometime during last year...
