Story of a girl in the dark

where her life had sank.
Her feelings moved in and out with the tide
sometimes all she wanted to do was hide.
Her life was a mess
she had tears spilling down her dress.
She was thinking of all the things she did wrong,
and why her life felt so long.
All her thoughts whether they were good or bad
made her feel so sad.
While day became night,
she sat alone in the moon light.
All she needed was a friend who understood
how she felt all alone in the woods.
She sat there all night then again all day
just waiting for some one who felt just the same way.
But no one ever came along who was the same
everyone else said her parents were to blame,
for the way she was and how she wasn’t like the rest,
everyone knew that she wasn’t the best.
When she would cry all night they wouldn’t know
for her feelings she wouldn’t show.
Until one day this all came to an end
this was the day I became her friend.
This is her story as she told it to me
for she wanted people to see
what would have happened if I hadn’t came
because her life wouldn’t have been the same.
For all I know she could have died
if I hadn’t tried.
I am so glad that I was the one who was there for her
to change that the way things were.
I was so sad when I had to leave her alone
but now her feelings are shown.
I was afraid to leave her that it would make her sad
leaving her made me feel bad.
I didn’t want things to go back to the way they were
when her life wasn’t sure.
But I was happy to hear
that people had gotten over their fears.
They accepted her and helped her fit in
the battle was over we would win. |
