Got another way to live
So you'll live this way
Giving it all, to find it taken
Collapse into compromise
For all the forsaken
Pick it all up, to watch it fall down
The beauty of a promise
The prospects of a sound
The angel grounded
By lack of enthusiasm?
The seagull strangled
By its own proud tongue
It’s normal, it is
To be caught in a system
As pathetic as this
Sorry-did it break?
Did it all fall down?
Did it state the truth?
