» Poem: beginning
beginning
written by omegadrax

in the beginning
there had to have been an end.
for you to break
something, it must first bend.
the silence
always precedes the noise.
the pains
join together the joys.
an ending
signifies something new.
what am i,
but an extension of you?

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
i had these poems on my website, but i am thinking of deleting my suck-site and started over. i need these kept because i can't bring myself to delete them forever. they were written in the mid-nineties and are part of a collection (mysteriously) named "get some".

the flagship poem of this collection...
