In my shadow you see yourself

I hope when you think inside your mind, you can't get my voice erased.
It's not that easy now that you see I'm falling.
It's not that easy now that you're crawling.
When you see what you've done,
It's hard to get it to go away.
When you thought it was gonna be good,
But over in your head it plays.
You hate the way you feel,
Now you hate this pain.
You want what was real,
But you've only got yourself to blame.
I know you have thoughts of me, constantly.
You wonder why after all this time,
I'm still in your head.
You have flashbacks of what was said.
Don't you wish you could take it back?
You know it's happening,
You're breaking down.
It's kind of amusing,
How you got that frown.
You're crying just like me,
You've become your own worst enemy.
But in the end, I won't be like you.
In the end, I'll have made it through. |
