» Poem: Just Like You
Just Like You
written by DarkAngelBlood

You expect people to understand,
But you just don't give 'em half a chance.
You turn your back,
Quicker than they can reach out and grab your hand.
You got them wishing they didn't know you,
Like you all should've never came in contact.
Like they're gonna catch your disease.
You think they treated you badly,
But it's the other way 'round.
If you had it your way,
You'd tear their ass apart.
Leave 'em lying on the ground.
You're paranoid.
So fucking stressed.
Think the whole world's out to get you.
Think this whole thing's a mess.
When you lie at night, try to sleep in your bed.
You have to leave the light on, cause you create
monsters in your head.
You pull the covers over your shoulder.
The room starts to get dark and colder.
You close your eyes and dream of what they told ya.
You'll die in your sleep.
And never wake to see the light of day.
Cause you're a sinner and you never prayed.
But that's okay, cause you make your way,
To a happy place full of people just like you.
