» Poem: Connection
Connection
written by piperneedshelp
09:16 PM 2/6/05
air comes out from your mouth
it looks like you smoked because its cold out
i'm sitting on the porch
with my head in my hands
wondering what to do now
something just happened
and i need to hold tight to something
to keep my world from spinning
but its already out of control
i see now that it isnt your breath thats smoking
you do have a cigirette
i take one from your pack and smoke it up too
it calms my nerves
and gives me that stability i need
if i'm not careful i could get addicted
but for now i dont care
i just need to forget for a while
forget that note that was left on the counter
the note that was the last we will ever hear from mom
