» Poem: Hit the Floor
Hit the Floor
written by MorbidSuicide666
12:37 AM 4/24/04
Through the faithless misery,
That pushed my face into the ground.
Through the dishonest,
That bruised my heart,
You were my angel of mercy.
Your eyes alone,
Deep blue,
Consumed me.
But all happiness erased itself,
As my world darkened,
You escaped my grasp,
Once again.
Far from my reach.
Now the bright blue sky,
Which once resembled your eyes,
I stand below it,
Behind the clouds...
I shed a tear.
You are my wound,
Empty dream.
I succumb to weakness now,
I hit the floor.
