Lost in the Shadows

You see me lingering in the shadows
You know what’s on my mind with a quick glance
And you know what to do
You take my hand
Lead me to the light
And tell me to look
But I can’t see
I want it so badly
To have you
To think about what’s ahead
But I’m afraid
My memory’s blocked
My seeing eye is blinded
I need your help
Your touch
Darling, love
Take me with you, I plead
Don’t let the shadows get me
I don’t want to be with them anymore
You showed me a new way
A life I can choose
But I can’t find you
And I’m lost inside the shadows |
