» Poem: -knife-
-knife-

She stops and debates
Toying with the idea and the knife
No one knew what she was thinking
She wasn't even sure she knew
Nothing could take away the pain
This was her last resort
It only seemed reasonable
She took the blade and let it
Walk across the skin of her wrist
Physical pain overtook the emotional
But she felt regret in an instance
Like an addicting cigarette
She knew she wanted more
But her reprimanding conscience
Talked her into stopping this habit
She hid the knife out of her reach
Out of sight, out of mind
There was no one to turn to
So she slept to get rid of her guilt
But it still remains in her heart
She wants to take it back, but can't
She has to live with it now
So she stops and debates
Toying with the idea and the knife
And she gave into her emotions
And the knife took another walk
