Time
written by Blackhawk09:51 PM 2/8/05I watch the people walk on by.
Like a memory it will fly.
I sit alone with your belief.
Alone still, where my heart lies.
I hear the chatter of the drops of rain.
Like a tale left untold.
The darkness inside where it grows cold.
I am the dark, the silence of night.
Some things that aren't meant to be right.
I need it more in my defeat.
Without it I'm not complete.
Time runs away with the wind.
Day by day I come to find.
The world I once knew I left behind.
I sit alone on pale cobblestone.
Looking to the paling moon.
My life is empty, a shell of what once was.
A song that has no notes or rhyme.
My soft and somber song fades with time. |
