» Poem: Faded Dreams
Faded Dreams
written by Panic
12:01 AM 2/9/05
As I fall asleep I feel peace wash over me
The world outside me fades away
Into the nothingness that has enveloped my soul
Only my dreams and nightmares are left
The words from my barely conscious mind

I'm walking through a forest
On a moonlit silver path
I can't remember why I'm hear
Or what happened before that
All I know is that I'm actually happy
Until I open my eyes again

Here in reality I cry one last time
As I put pressure on the razor
Slowly it cuts deeply into my wrist
Spilling my blood all around me
And as I lie in this crimson puddle
I close my eyes to the world
One last time
