» Poem: Contagious Disease
Contagious Disease
written by pongster182

This world and this life style I'm living in
isn't right.
Everything is distorted.
This distortion is infecting us and spreading
this contagious disease to both the
innocent and the guilty.
The young and the old.
The soft and the rough.
The weak and the strong.

Resistence against this new virus
only causes you to suffer more than the others.
You lie in this sickness
knowing what is disabling you,
knowing you're trying your best to drive it away,
but you only linger in its misery longer until
it's over,
you're done
and gone.
