Shadow Heart

Holding you tightly
But only in the shadows
Where no on can break us apart
This forbidden love grows stronger
As they try to kill out hearts
But our hearts beat with such a passion
That can't be illustrated
In simple words
Except in our crystal eyes
Where everyone can bear witness
To this surreal bond
I sometimes wonder if this is real
Or will I wake up and be alone
Your arms around me
Make me feel safe and warm
I wish this could be more
Me and you together again
So I no longer have to hide amidst shadows
And await your love
To give my heart wings to fly
