Leaf Of Oaken

Challenging child shall be his fate. Understanding what Lera have spoken,
Chased by anger fear and hate.
He shall be a healer in the deep, He shall go where no one has.
Till he can see the bottom, Till the time has come to pass.
Air and Water, Earth and Fire, All shall ease his pain.
Till the elements conspire, To restore the island chain.
He must run through the high land on 1st flower, As he quests through wind and snow. Then he shall break an ancient power, And restore himself to his woe.
When the lord of lies upbraids him, Then his wrath shall cloak the mighty sun. And the Herne's foe shall aid him, To confront the evil one.
Sacrifice shall be his meaning, He the darkest secret learn. Truths of beast and man revealing, Touching in the heart of Herne.
Colt of moonlight everafter, So shall all the Herne's sing. For his days shall herald laughter, For he was born a healer and a king. |
