why did you do it?

betrayel for the world to see
now i have to suffer because of you
hell is what your puttin me through
it was going good with my parents not knowing
now there words of scorn are forever in my mind flowing
you had to pull up my sleeve with them right there
to show them without thinking if i would care
they saw the lines up and down
and there smiles quickly became frowns
now i cant do anything that could leave even a small cut
like it matters, my arm is already a jagged rut
i dont understand why you had to tell?
to make my life a living hell?
they dont understand why i slit to make the pain subside
it is what kept me from suicide
but because of you they will never understand
why i have these cuts on my wrist and hands
now for the rest of my life these scars they will know
these cuts represent the pain i never did show. |
