» Poem: My Eden
My Eden
written by Lady Deathstrike
08:01 PM 2/10/05
A simple tranquility rests upon its hills
Nothing here to be afraid of
Nothing her to turn away from
Simple sweet pleasures of golden nothingness
An invisible Eden created to block out darkness
But still, darkness is inevitable
It seeps slowly across the land
Like the fingers of night
Stretching across the palling sky
Quietly, unnoticeably it slips out of the back of your mind
And gently fades away
Like falling silver snowflakes
None is the same
Cant hold on to paradise forever
Reality steps in the way
