» Poem: the long black ribbon
the long black ribbon
written by Bloodfilledcinnabuns
10:55 PM 2/10/05
there was a pool to nowhere
the teen aghst driven dispare
the magical, wonderful world of molicles
fading fast, faster
the car comes roung the bend and slams
the deer looks on with his wide eyes
then jumps arches in the night
the red ribbons are all there
the ones we used on the doll
the doll is gone
she was lost that day
the day that you found a way
into the pool of disapeer
that pool that Mother always said to stay away from
we should have listen
look at that, the long black ribbon
the whiteness shows in some places
a woman holds her child
thinking the same thing will happen to her little baby
we should have listen and
now,now we're all alone
in that pool of empty homes
