Finally At Rest

as all her pain she releases
all her ambitions washed down the drain
she's left with nothing but unending pain
can you see the sorrow behind her eyes?
do you even care what causes her to cry?
it's because of people just like you
and the torment she's put through
all the lies and how quickly they spread
the cruel words in the notes she read
the realization of her worst fears
the frustration that brought her to tears
but she won't be there to kick around anymore
guess what her parents found when they opened her door?
their baby girl with a knife in her chest
and a note beside her that said "finally at rest" |
