» Poem: Can you Relate?
Can you Relate?
written by XsouredXfaithX
02:10 AM 2/11/05
everyday she sits in her room alone
once again her mom is not home
probably out getting drunk somewhere
thinking Sarah doesnt care
when she is home she gets drunk again
screaming at Sarah, tearing her from within
she goes and locks herself in her room to escape
thinking about the cuts shell soon make
she gets out her razor under her bean bag
and pulls up her sleeve and grabs a rag
slowly the blood starts to flow
the pain is letting go
because of this she wears long sleeves
so the world will never know the pain she receives
theyd never imagina such a sweet little girl
cutting and making herself hurl
but the world only sees a lie
this sweet little girl wishes to die
until that day shell try and get by
one cut at a time

I can relate, except my mother doesn't get drunk, she's abusive 24/7. I've quit cutting, too. I've still got some pencil sharpener blades, though. (Razorblades have been hidden grr)
