Roses for your Rest
written by loner_girl05:30 AM 2/12/05I walked into the flower store
I didn't want to breath as i opened the door
But in and out breath came again
Why won't my life be at its end
I saw some roses by the corner
It might help said a mourner
I bought them and took them to you
I layed them on the grassy dew
Beside a rock that read your name
Haven't I any shame?
I could have stopped it all
I should have taken the fall
And now this is my final test
Can I let you lay to rest? |

I know the potent paroxysms of pain in having to lay a loved one to rest. R.I.P. Mrs. Margaret Carosn. She was my neighbor, but she was more like a sister. |
