» Poem: Plunge
Plunge
written by devilchild01

Plunge into the darkest black
Reaching out ahead of me
My fingers brush only against wet stone
I feel for anything
I could use to pull myself up
My fingers find only crumbling stones
I try to pull myself up with my hands
Once more I plunge into the pitch back
I sit and wait for someone to find me
To pull me up from this darkness
