I wish i was happy

You don’t understand.
You feel that lies and love
Go hand in hand.
Nothing’s clear;
The drug’s effect.
And my heart
You plan to dissect.
Whatever happened
To the life that we had?
Whatever happened to,
“It’s meant to be.”
I guess we just had to
Open our eyes and see.
Now we’re drowning in our
Miseries.
Now we’re watching threw
Blood shot eyes.
Now we’re poor and homeless
And now we’ve got to pay the fees.
The broken glass is
Under our feet.
Now evil is too much
For good to defeat.
Whatever happened
To the life that we had?
Whatever happened to,
“It’s meant to be.”
I guess we just had to
Open our eyes and see |
