» Poem: Caving In
Caving In

My knees begin to give in,
Thinking of a time when,
I thought I was alright,
Those times are lost and out of sight.

My back begins to bend,
I'm running out of time to spend,
Mourning over memories of you,
And all of the things I was forced to go through.

My neck begins to snap,
No time to look back.
My world- slowly fading to black,
Coming at me, powerful smack.

My mind begins to shut down,
Right behind me without a sound.
Listening to the silent pounds,
Making my way into the ground.

My life is coming to a halt,
Hit the ground, I fall,
Painfully remembering it all,
As it all comes to an end, I still think it's all my fault.
