Memories of You

Then again I think it's all in my head
Flashbacks, memories of you
Now I know I'll make it through.
I shake my head, deny it all
I raise my voice, unable to fall
I snap back, I dont forgive
I hope your happy, with how you live.
No one knows me like you do
You're the only one who can relate
To the little things that somehow make
Me the person you turn to.
Thoughts of you linger
Pictures in my head of our bodies mingled
I can feel my body begin to tingle
With every single touch of your fingers.
The pain
That once drove me insane
Has disappeared from the surface
In my heart I know it's worth this.
Now I have no reason to cry
No reason to want to die
I have everything I want in you
That's what powers me to make it through. |
