Thank You..

Behind everything ugly there is still beauty to be found
Thank you for every cutting word
They will bring to my grave
Thank you for the guilt
Thank you for the pain
They are the only feelings I have left
Thank you for soothing the pain with your kind words
Just to hit me again when I let the tears fall
Thank you for ‘loving’ my mum
She’s never seemed so happy
Thank you for lying to her
Just to make her hate me but keep her smiling
Thank you for killing my heart
Soon I will be dead with it too
Thank you for coming to the funeral
To wipe away mums tears
Thank you for helping me
Helping me realize I was only bringing her down
Thank you for the funeral
I know you paid for it out of guilt
I hope it sticks with you forever
I hope you’re life is full of guilt
I’m dead, But I’ve never felt so beautiful
I’m watching over everyone
As they stare at my body
Staring at those scars
They show you all my weakness
I can see you staring at my neck
Yes, You’re the reason
You brought me here
And all I want to do is thank you. |
