Believe Me.

Rip my whole world apart
I can hear you whisper
Yet you can’t even hear me scream
Sometimes it feels like my whole life has been one terrible dream
Slicing my wrists helps me realize that this is my world
But just one word you say can change it for better
Or maybe for worse
I will let you take away my life
Just like you took away yours
I’ll let you do anything to me
Just for your touch
Be it a punch in the face or a kiss on the lips
I don’t care as long as you’re there with me
I never thought this could happen
I never even knew it would be my fault
You’re so beautiful when you convince yourself
That you are my perfection
Not that that has ever happened
I dream of the day when you will realize how much I care
But you will never let me care
And you’ll never let me be there
You just die
Over and over again
I hope one day my life will finally end. |
