» Poem: Forever Burning~
Forever Burning~
written by Josh_x

The last time it happened
It felt like it wasn’t real
I could feel the burn on my face
I never thought you’d do this to me
I suppose I was wrong
Wrong, Like always
I never really could seem to get it right
I thought I could trust you
I really thought I could love you
You were the one that brought me into this world
Now you have made it seem just like hell
Sometimes it feels like the burn on my skin will never go away
The scars on my back will never fade away
Nor will the ones on my wrists, legs, stomach or neck
Sometimes I like to pretend you were really there for me
Sometimes I wish that you really cared for me
Always knowing it will never be
I just have to feel the burning all over my body ‘til the day that I die
I like to pretend that someone will cry
For now I may not know for long
But maybe I will if I don’t try to stop the burning
Maybe this is what it really feels like to have nobody care
Forever burning
