» Poem: SOUL'S LAMENT
SOUL'S LAMENT
written by tyosdream
11:26 AM 2/13/05
Watching,
Waiting,
Breathing in the air of nervous anticipation,
Heavy and bitter upon a deadened tongue.
Hoping,
Praying,
Searching for faith taught in redemption
Fables born from a tortured mind called "Society".
Screaming,
Crying,
Calling out for life in the midst of Death's sadistic circus
While the organ drones the tears of a funeral dirge.
