SORROW'S MELODY
written by tyosdream
11:28 AM 2/13/05
What is all the bitterness worth,
When all that is real,
Anymore,
Is tears and broken-hearted memories?
Sure good to see you smile
But not even dreams now
Can shelter the truth.
Regrets,
Far too late.
Hopes, dreams, and happiness
Have long since faded from my eyes.
My ears ring with the music of the ages,
And inside,
The dirge plays on.
