» Poem: QUESTIONS
QUESTIONS
written by tyosdream
11:31 AM 2/13/05
Does it bother you?
Does it ever sadden you?
Searching for shelter within the arms of
"Understanding Souls",
Does it ever frighten you when you look into their eyes
Only to see that they pity you
Almost as much
As you pity yourself?
Do you shudder when they look down to you,
Wolves,
Smiling at a lamb which strayed from the flock?
As you sigh,
Closing your eyes
To feel the hot breath upon your throat
Promising of such pain,
Is the suffering so sweet?
