Revenge (comments please...)

Letting your name bounce around
Inside my empty head.
You said forever.
But what’s forever?
The game isn’t over,
The hunt’s still on.
I won’t let you get away
Run.
Run from me.
I dare you!
But when you come back,
As we both know you will
Don’t ask for mercy.
I have none to give,
Least of all to you
And when you cry out,
No one will hear you.
I swore to smother your screams
As you smothered mine
I will hold Salvation
Just out of your reach
And hear you plead for the end
Before I ever let you walk away again
No one walks away from me… |
