A Lone Raven (please read and comment)
written by Blackhawk

A lone Raven.
Perched upon her heart.
So lost and forgotten I cannot see the start.
He looks to the sun, once a friend now his enemy.
Locking eyes with the sky over sweet Kentucky.
The moon rising over it's garish adversary.
Risng, rising for all to see.
Over sweet Kentucky.
Flying into the night like a black bullet, crying his Melodious call.
Screeching and calling to her for the ears of all.
Standing there in that tranquil homestead lies his Devotion and bowel of all emotion.
His lady and his happiness.
His life and her sweet caress.
Peering through with love's desire.
She is warm and heated by his fire.
An ebony flame perched upon the window pane.
He hopes his crimson tears are not shed in vain.
Releasing the latch and climbing back the Raven Flutters by her side.
A longing for his meant to be bride.
Alas, this Raven is meant to stay so.
So far away.
Born again and dead today.
