Shame and Selfharm

Because I did it all again
You said that if I didn’t stop
You’d no longer be my friend
I tried so hard
Not to harm myself again
I tried to think of other things
But I finally just gave in
I roll down my sleeves
And cry myself to sleep
Another lie caused by self harm
Another promise I cannot keep
I am just so sorry
But I know im just not that strong
Sometimes for no reason I break down and cry
Sometimes I just don’t want to go on
I lick up the blood guiltily
And wish that I could turn back time
Because everything is just so difficult
And I feel like I am losing my mind
Please forgive me
You know I need you to
Know that I am serious, and sorry
For not keeping my promise to you
I’ll probably do the same
Until I am finally dead
Leaving ugly bruises
Licking up misery in the form of red
And if I don’t see you tomorrow
I’ll know that you have kept your word
Just like I am impossible to
You are unforgiving,or so ive heard
It isn’t that I want attention
But really I need to escape the pain
I would help you, I would care
If you happened to do the same
Ive kept from committing suicide
Just for you and mainly you
But quitting self harm is just too hard
Its unfortunately something I couldn’t do
Please forgive me
You know I need you to
Know that I am serious, and sorry
For not keeping my promise to you |
