A Broken poet

Again, another night passing me by
whilst through the day,
all I can do is live out my lie.
Inside the mind of this broken poet
are the words I can use to show it.
But I lack these words,
No one understands, how to find the key
to the door,
They need to unlock to understand me.
From this, Inside
Will I ever break free?
These words say nothing.
They won't even serve the purpose
To keep what’s buried, below the surface
I lack the strength to open the door
To face the facts
of what’s happened before.
Why can't I face what is hidden within
and show my true self to the world to you
accept the shit and move on through.
What’s in the past, shouldn’t still last.
Yet this broken poet
is pouring out heart
though these words,
that her world is dark.
These words may now, only
serve the purpose
to keep her Illness below the surface.
To cover it up, This we must
I don't want our daughter
tarred by that brush.
I don't want My daughter
tarred by My brush. |

| aloha i loved ur poem i was thinkin u got no poem title how bout "worried" cause of you dauters sake you think of this too many times and so that means you worried of what will happen |
