» Poem: Beautiful Stranger
Beautiful Stranger

You move with so much flare
I can't help but stare
Your hair so long and blonde
I can see in your eyes you've been wronged

You step a little closer to me
Put your hand on my shoulder, the possibilities
I can't get my mind off of you
You kiss me back too

I feel that weight of your hands
I run my fingers through her hair, each strand
I taste you, I don't even know you
But it’s my mind you blow

So as we dance, time ticks by
And for that moment I’m happy why?
A bit of fun, no chance pain
The clubs shutting, my heart starts to wane

Then she whispers her name in my ear
Gives me her number, says will meet again, so sincere
I just smile, kiss her goodbye
I won't see her again, but I’m happy
I don't know why?
