» Poem: Growth of the Soul
Growth of the Soul
written by mattwhatever

The change in me over the past year has been dramatic
My life change pragmatic

And so it is, So much has happened
My melancholy existence at an end

My mind expanded
My old life disbanded

I’ve travelled, seen the world
My hearts whirled

Met so many amazing friends
Been out so much, started trends

Felt love, had the most amazing time
Realised I have to take what’s mine

I’ve done a few things maybe I should regret
I’ve cried my eyes have been wet

But now when I look back, I wouldn’t change a thing
The growth of my soul, in the end it’s me that wins.
