» Poem: Paradise
Paradise
written by polkadotsocks
11:25 PM 2/15/05
Strolling down the beach
Our hands clasped together
The sand resting between our toes
The ocean mist lingers in the air,
dampening our faces
His eyes glisten in the moonlight
I sit in the sand
Wrapped in his arms
Our toes touching the waves
that crash against the sand
I close my eyes
Listening to the gulls cry out to the sea
Listening to the ocean calling my name
Listening to his heart steadily beating
My eyes stay shut,
I am paralyzed

this is a real poem, not something cliche that every teenager writes about
not sad stuff that is so stupid
