» Poem: Many Miles Of Endless Love
Many Miles Of Endless Love
written by CrzyAnml6666
07:23 AM 2/16/05
There are many miles between us,
But our hearts see not the distance.
Drawing our love even closer,
On this my heart it is insistent.

Days were filled with tears
Moments were filled with pain
Thoughts were filled with memories
Dreams were filled with nightmares

When we talk my heart sings,
You'll never know the happiness it brings.
Just to hear a word from you,
Keeps my heart from being blue.

Till not long ago I though it was impossible
To find the friend most search for all their life
I lost so many friends as years came and went
After all I've been through
After all those who left my life

You touched my heart and soul
in such a special way .
I long for us to meet.
I know that we will bond
it's apparent from how we speak.

I never thought I'd find a friend
as good as the ones I've lost
A friend who'd be by my side and
who'd listen to my thoughts
Maybe these are just words
Maybe it'll all change with time

Even though we only know each
other from far, far away
I Trust you more with every word
I would stand by your side
when no one else would
I would tell you the truth
even though it might hurt

The words I'm trying to say is
that you are one of my true friends
You know what I feel, you know my little ways,
You never judge me, you never have.

You're there for me to wipe the tears
You're always there to lend a ear
Longing, wanting you to be mine.
I cant wait no longer.
You ask me if I'm ready
I tell you that I am.

I forever want to be with you.
For now I'll settle for the phone,
But know it's in your dreams that I belong
Longing for the day we greet,
Two loving hearts will then get to meet.
Never more to be apart,
Knowing it was long distance we got our start.
