A Special Place
written by nicole_lyndon07:32 AM 2/16/05I was on a long and lonely road
With nowhere to abide
Until I caught a glimpse of you
I was eager to get inside
I was lurking around outside
Desperately checking you out
Trying to find an entrance
After meeting you, I had no doubt
Then I stepped up to your door
I couldn't imagine what was in store
I was gladly welcomed by your smile
By the way, baby, I love your style
I found sweetness for all the bitterness I tasted
I found peace for all my hurts
I reached in and found pleasure for
All the precious moments I wasted
For all that I found in this special place
I have that and more to give
For I've found a permanent residence
And your heart is where it is. |
