» Poem: Let God in and Take Satan Out!
Let God in and Take Satan Out!
written by nicole_lyndon

We look around today and wonder what is wrong,
There is evil everywhere, and Satan seems so strong.
You can see it on the corner, and almost everywhere,
Because we've put Satan first; you can be certain he's there!

He's crept in our schools and even in our homes,
There is turmoil and trouble wherever he roams.
Looking back, he's slid in a little at a time,
And fooled us into thinking it's not important so never mind!

But you see, he's a master at the game of quiz!
He's good at his game, being the serpent that he is!
He tried it in Heaven, is why God kicked him out,
As long as we let him, he'll try us too no doubt.

It's like when we slowly drink from a glass.
Each time we take a sip, Satan makes another pass,
Because each time we drink, we push God further back.
Instead we need to reverse, and put back what we lack.

We need to put God first each and every day,
Back in our classrooms and homes and Satan at bay!
And sing new songs while we take a new route.
We must let God in and take Satan out!
