Stop and Think
written by nicole_lyndon

If you drink, don't drive, if you drive don't drink.
Try to think of others if your mind's clear to think.
It just takes a moment, for a life you might end.
Whether yours, or another, you can no more pretend.
You say that won't happen.
I'm under control.
I know what I'm doing, and I do what I like.
For just a split second you may lose that control
There's a crash and suddenly a body lies on the road.
Perhaps it's a child with their whole life to live.
Now they lie their so quite they have no more to give.
When the driver awakes behind bars in a cell,
All at once realizes, another lifes lost as well
