» Poem: The One
The One
written by nicole_lyndon

The Days are as Nights
Dark and Cold.
Light is no where to be found.
As I try to walk in this darkness,
I stumble.
When I try to get up,
I only fall.
Life seems to be no more,
Yet my heart still beats.
The walls of life begin to cave in,
I can't hold them,
I can't stop them.
There is no help,
She is gone.
If I could only hold her once more;
I would be able to over come.
She made me complete,
She showed me how to love;
Now I know,
She was... The One!
